JAMMU: A major fire broke out in a J&K Bank branch in Rajouri town of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Major fire broke out during wee hours in J&K Bank branch of Rajouri,” police here said on Friday.
They said that the fire broke out inside the record room of the branch in which many files were destroyed.
Police team immediately swung into action while two fire fighters we’re also pressed into service
“The flames we’re doused and the fire was controlled in night long operation,” police said and added that no injury was reported into the incident.
“The cause of fire is being ascertained,” they said adding that a case has been registered and investigations started.
