JAMMU, Nov 28: The first round of Senior Snooker organized during the ongoing 26th J&K State Billiards and Snooker Championship commenced today.
The Championship is being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Vipan Malhi defeated Jaswinder Singh by straight 3-0 frames, whereas in the second match, Aman Sharma beat Vikrant Gupta by 3-0.
Nitin Sharma registered win over Anju Kapoor by 3-0 in the third match, whereas in the fourth match, Abhishek Goswani defeated Vishal Mahotra by 3-1 frames.
On the fifth match, Arjun Singh beat Sidharth Sajgotra by 3-0 frames, whereas in the sixth match, Manik Sharma defeated Abhirath Gulati by 3-0 frames.
In seventh and last match of the day, Ishuk Choudhary defeated Vasudev Gupta by 3-1 frames.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Marker, who has been appointed by J&K State Sports Council.
The Championship is being organized by JKBSA under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
