KATHUA, May 6: A fisherman was washed away by swift current of water in Khad nullah where he was catching the fish today.
He has been identified as Lal Chand, S/o Munshi Ram of Duggar Bani. According to reports Lal Chand slipped while catching the fish in the river and was washed away in strong current of the water in the river which is the tributary of Ravi river.
His body has not been fished out so far and police has launched a search for it. The Bani Police has also registered a case in this regard under the relevant sections of the law.
