JAMMU, May 28: Sidhra Police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 10,920 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Sidhra led by SI Majid Hussain under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishva Partap conducted raid and apprehended five gamblers along with Rs 10,920 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Srinawas Rao, Mohd Sarwar, Akhter, Vikram Thakur and Sagir Ali.
Cognizance under 13 Gambling Act has been taken against the arrested gamblers by Sidhra Police.
