Five gamblers held

JAMMU, May 21: Satwari police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 3,950 stake money.
As per police sources, police team from Satwari police station conducted raid in an open field near Airport and nabbed five gamblers along with Rs 3,950 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Ramandeep Singh, son of Surjeet Singh of Chatha Farm, Surinder Singh, son of Balwant Singh of Digiana Camp, Jeet Raj, son of Baldev Raj of Old Satwari, Amarjeet Singh, son of Balbir Singh of Govindpura Chatha and Harpreet Singh, son of Harnam Singh of Kanachak.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at police station Satwari and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Sachin Gupta and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
