JAMMU, Mar 30: Five players of Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for Senior National Classic Power Lifting Championship (Men and Women) to be held at Kozhikode (Kerala) from April 1 to 5.
The team was selected by All J&K UT Power Lifting Association on the basis of recently conducted J&K UT Powerlifting Championship. First time four players are participating at Senior National Level from Kashmir Province.
The selected team players are Ubaid Hafiz, Mohd Murtaz Bhat, Momin Khan, Mohd Aquib and Ronit Verma. The team is being accompanied by Ajay Sharma (National Referee).
The officials of the Association namely Ajay Sharma (general secretary), Rahul Sawhney (senior vice-president), Riyaz Ahmed Bhat (president, Kashmir Powerlifting Association), Feroz Ahmed Shah (general secretary, Kashmir Power Lifting Association) and all the executive members gave their best wishes to the team.
