Fixing fee structure

Sir,
The recent decision of the State Government to constitute a high level committee to review and fix the fee structure is a step towards ending the monopoly of these institutions. The decision was hailed by people whose children are reading in private schools and have been subjected to irrational fee hike from time to time.
The aggrieved parents had been raising this issue with concerned authorities but did not get any relief in any manner. These helpless parents are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea as they cannot afford these private schools on one hand, and cannot send their wards in Government schools due to their falling standard on the other hand.
The Government must now give it a practical shape and do not confine it to papers only.
A Government controlled mechanism will be a boon to parents who have to shell out a hefty amount of their hard labour for their children’s education.
Yours etc….
