JAMMU, August 28: The week-long ‘Talent Hunt Camp’ organised by Arun Malhotra for young Football enthusiasts of rural pockets concluded on a positive note at Synthetic Turf Khel Gaon, Nagrota, near here today.
Around 100 young boys and girls, including youth from Udhampur district learned the basics tips of football from widely travelled and international footballer which was organised by Sports Saviours Football Club (SSFC) in support by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Arun Sharma Sports and Social Welfare Trust (Regd.) and Sportsline.
At the end of this successful event, the promising young boys and girls were encouraged by the organisers by presenting them with sports stuff gifts. The host Club SSFC also presented 10 footballs to Nagrota Football Club convenor, Narinder Singh for making the event memorable.
In the valedictory of the Camp, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg had consented to be the chief guest but could not make it to the venue due to preoccupation. On his behalf, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rakesh Dubey encouraged young footballers and advised Arun Malhotra to continue with his zeal and passion to train and guide the young raw talent in J&K.
The ADC was also briefed about the present status and expansion plans of the Khel Gaon by DYSSO, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
Arun Malhotra informed the visiting guest about various activities that took place during the camp. He was confident that the campers, especially those from rural pockets, would continue with their regular practice and assured them of all support in their future endeavours.
During the camp, Arun was assisted by the technical team members including Vishal Bandral, Nikita, Khushboo, Tillu Kumar, Ramesh Sharma, Vinay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Dushyant Sharma, Narinder Kumar, Sham Lal, Arun Nagyal, Gagandeep Singh, Gourav, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ricky Sharma and Sandeep Sharma.
