Footballers return from CRPF organised Bangalore Tour

BARAMULLA, July 28: Thirty two footballers from North Kashmir’s Baramulla were finally back home today after a 5-day exposure tour organised by the CRPF.
In their quest to enhance awareness among youngsters the rich cultural heritage and developmental activities in other parts of the country, the CRPF 53 Bn Baramulla organised this tour.
During their 5-day tour, the footballers visited places of tourist interest like museums, war memorials and places of historic significance. During the tour they got a chance to play with local football clubs in Banglore.
The footballers said that CRPF 53 Bn organised tour was fantastic as it gave them a chance to visit beautiful places in Bangalore where they also met Governor of Karanata state.
Commandant of 53 Bn CRPF Vinay Kumar Tiwari said that the tour was a part of the ongoing initiative that the CRPF has undertaken to improve awareness levels of the students of Baramulla region.  He said the initiative elicited a positive response from the locals.
