REASI, May 28: A major fire broke out in forests area on hills along road towards Salal Power Station, here this morning.
The forest fire has engulfed a large area and was spreading till last reports came in. A large number of trees and wildlife animals are feared to have perished in the devastating fire.
An alert has been sounded in the inhabitations near the forest fire even as the Administration is also gearing up to check the fire from spreading further.
