Former Mayor inaugurates Open Gym in Nanak Nagar

JAMMU, Oct 25: Former Mayor Jammu Ch Manmohan Singh asserted that Gyms and sports can play a pivotal role in keeping youth away from the scourge of drugs and alcohol.
It was stated by him while inaugurating an Open Gym facility near the parking slot of the Gurdwara Nanak Nagar in Sector-2, here today, which was inaugurated in the memory of late Vijay Choudhary, former Councillor and Tarlochan Singh Wazir, former chairman of J&K SGPB in the presence of Karan Singh Wazir, son of late Tarlochan Singh Wazir.
He (Ch Manmohan) said that the Open Gym facility will help in channelizing the energy of the youth towards positivity and will go a long way in crafting their bright future and disclosed that due to keen interest of the wife of former Councillor, the Gym was declared open today for the general public.
The prominent persons including Fateh Singh, Manmohan Singh, Inder Singh Soodan and many others were present during the event.
