SRINAGAR, May 14: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum has urged the State Government to redress grievances of the ReT cadre without further delay.
The appeal was made during a State level meeting of the Forum, which was held here today under the presidium of State president Vinod Sharma, chairman Bashir Ahmed Dar, vice chairman Ashaq Rasool, vice president Bhupinder Singh and senior leader Ghazi Abdul Aziz.
The leaders of the Forum demanded the implementation of High Court order regarding transfer policy for regularized ReTs as they have been serving in the same schools for last more than 15 years. They also demanded the streamlining of SSA salary, which is still pending for last 4 to 6 months and their families are living miserable lives and Government must come up with a complete solution of this chronic problem so that thousands of SSA teachers may not suffer any more.
The Forum members also urged the Government to include 5 years ReT period in their service by implementing Government order number 469 for the welfare of thousands of ReTs of the State.
The Forum hoped that the new Education Minister would consider all their grievances at the earliest and said that if their grievances are not redressed, a strategy would be formulated in the next State level meeting.
