Four shooters of J&K qualify for National C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 7: Representing Jammu and Kashmir in 28th GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship at Chennai in Tamil Nadu, organised by National Rifle Association, four shooters of J&K Rifle Association after displaying good skills have qualified for the National Shooting Championship 2018.
These ace shooters include Arjun Chib, Romijit Singh, Adhiraj Singh Charak and Shruti Sharma.
Arjun of J&K Police Rifle Club scored 381/400 Air Rifle Junior Men category, while Romijit of Jammu scored 371/400 in Air Pistol Senior Men category. Adhiraj of General Zorawar Singh Rifle Club, Bari Brahamana scored 366/400 in Rifle Youth Men category and Shruti of SMVD Shooting Club Katra scored 363/400 in Air Rifle Youth Women category.
President JKRA, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal and other office bearers of the Association lauded the efforts of the shooters for this achievement.
