JAMMU : Fourth batch of 1,666 pilgrims today left for the holy cave shrine of Shri Amarnath from the Yatri Niwas base camp here.
“As many as 1,666 pilgrims comprising 1146 males,288 females, 40 children and 192 sadhu,this morning left for the cave shrine from the Bhagwati Nagar based yatri Niwas,” official spokesman here said.
He said the yatris left in a convoy of 48 vehicles including 14 Light Motor Vehicles, 34 buses.
The first bus left at 0450 hrs with security arrangements.
