UDHAMPUR, Feb 27: Forest Protection Force team seized Deodar sleepers and cutting tools, which were left by fleeing forest smugglers in Dudu area.
The FPF team seized 16 number of Deodar Ballas measuring 27.49 cft, one Deodar Sleeper measuring 12.50 cft and 3 logs of Deodar measuring 20.18 Cft (total 60.17 cft.) along with one mechanical cutter and an axe in compartment number 22/D, beat Jakhed, Block Dudu and Range Dudu of Udhampur Forest Division.
Team of Forest Protection Force, Gamma Unit J-5, Udhampur, comprised Rakesh Singh, Dy Inspector; Rakesh Kumar (FPF Guard), Romesh Singh (S) (FPF Guard), and Rahoul Thakur (FPF Watcher).
