JAMMU, Aug 27: Independent contesting candidate of Jammu-West constituency and former GMC Consultant, Medicine, Dr Anil Dhar, today organized a free hypertension and diabetes detection camp in the premises of Bakshi Nagar Gurduwara.
Around more than 200 people from nearby localities suffering from related complaints were examined in the camp by Dr Dhar, wherein free blood sugar testing was done and free medicines were also distributed among the patients.
He also delivered awareness lecture on ill effects of hypertension and diabetes during the camp which was appreciated by the local residents and Gurduwara management including the patients.
Dr Dhar said is that it was his prime duty to serve the people by giving free consultation and medicines during the camps. He assured that more such camps will be organized in coming months in Jammu-West constituency.”
