SRINAGAR, Dec 18: The art of freestyle football has taken center stage in Srinagar after a five-time world champion and two-time European champion Aguska from Poland and Patrick Baurer from Germany, displayed amazing juggling skills at Ghanta Ghar, Lal Chowk here today.
However, the real surprise came when they chose Ghanta Ghar as their stage. Within minutes, a massive gathering surrounded the duo, cheering and appreciating every move as they demonstrated their exceptional coordination and control over the ball. The audience was particularly thrilled by their double act, showcasing years of dedication and skill mastery.
Aguska is from Poland and is known for freestyle football. Patrick Bauer is a German professional footballer. Both were seen juggling with football mesmerizing audiences with their skills along the famous Boulevard Road, the banks of Dal Lake, and Nishat Garden. Videos of their performances have gone viral on social media, creating a buzz around their visit.
Speaking to the reporters, Aguska expressed her delight at performing in the heart of Srinagar. “We are happy to be here. The people are very welcoming, and the weather is fantastic. We love the city. People here wanted to meet us, but unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to meet everyone,” she said.
When asked about her experience as a tourist, she praised the stunning beauty of the Valley and encouraged more people to visit. “I hope more people come here to see this beautiful place and meet wonderful people.” Aguska mentioned that she has been practicing freestyle football for over a decade, dedicating herself to daily practice.
German footballer Patric Bauer also shared his joy about visiting the Valley: “We feel amazing here and appreciate your love and support.” As the football duo prepared to leave Ghanta Ghar, the crowd eagerly sought selfies and autographs, highlighting the impact of their visit on the people.
