NEW DELHINew Delhi, May 19 (PTI) Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section remained flat at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following easy availability of trucks amid restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said, besides comfortable availability of trucks, restricted cargo movements, mainly kept freight rates at previous levels.
Following are today’s freights per 9-tonne load (in Rs): Jaipur 16,000 Hyderabad 57,000 Chandigarh 17,000 Vijayawada 61,000 Ludhiana 18,000 Bengaluru 64,000 Kanpur 20,000 Chennai 66,000 Indore 21,000 Mysore 67,000 Ahmedabad 22,000 Puducherry 70,000 Baroda 24,000 Coimbatore 73,000 Patna 27,000 Kochi 80,000 Surat 27,000 Thiruvananthapuram 84,000 Mumbai 30,000 Goa 58,000 Pune 31,000 Gwalior 15,000 Kolkata 33,000 Guwahati 61,000.
