French DM statement on terrorism an eye opener: Panun Kashmir

JAMMU, July 28: Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of Panun Kashmir held a meeting under the chairmanship of Prof ML Raina.
Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president, Panun Kashmir said that French Defence Minister Jean Vyes Le Drian has expressed his concern regarding certain developments in Pakistan including the concentration of terrorists in Pakistan.
He added that his statement that “everyone knows that terrorists continue to be present in Pakistan and the international terrorist networks take advantage of the certain relays” is an eye opener.
Indian stand that the 26/11 perpetrators were sponsored by the State of Pakistan has also been confirmed by Drian when he said at a function in New Delhi that the alleged masterminds of 26/11 attacks are also still roaming free in Pakistan.
Raina, national spokesperson, PK said that there is now an increased awareness amongst the western leaders over the dangers of terrorism emanating from the territory of Pakistan.
He said that the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community is the direct victim of terrorism and ethnic cleansing in Kashmir. “We express satisfaction over the stand of the west in the context of global fight against terrorism”, he added. In the given circumstances, any engagement with Pakistan is a futile exercise, he said.
The meeting was attended by Upinder Kaul, general secretary, Kamal Bagati, organizing secretary, Virender Kaul, NM Gadroo, Vijay Qazi, Ramesh Kaul and Shivdass from Chandigarh.
