JAMMU : In yet another ceasefire violation, Pakistan troops targeted Indian forward posts on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistan troops this morning at around 1040 hrs fired unprovoked at Indian posts in Krishna Ghati Sector and Bhimber Gali Sector of Poonch,” official spokesman here said.
He said Pakistan fired small arms, automatics and mortars adding, “own troops retaliated effectively and no damage or casualty has been reported in exchange of fire.”
One Army jawan was killed yesterday in Pakistan firing in Balakote Sector while Pakistan continuously violated the truce in Bhimber Gali, Mendhar Sector, Balakote Sector and Krishna Ghati areas of Poonch in the recent past.
