Fresh tremor hits Nepal

NEW DELHI : An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale stuck Nepal early today. The quake was experienced at 0255 hrs, an India Meteorological Department statement here said. The quake was epicentered at 27.7 degree North Latitude and 84.6 degree East Longitude with a focal depth of 10 km. The tremor of yesterday, along with three aftershocks, rattled the Himalayan nation and many parts of northern India, leaving 59 people dead and over 1000 injured in the two countries, resulting huge loss of property.
