Friends Club register 6 runs win over Tiger Club

JAMMU, Nov 23: Friends Cricket Club, Akhnoor registered a narrow win of 6 runs over its opponent team Tiger Cricket Club, Nandpur and advanced into next round of the ongoing Anti Drug Cricket Tournament at Red Rose Cricket stadium, Arnia here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, Friends Cricket Club set a huge target of 161 runs for its opponent team in stipulated 20 overs. Vipan was the top scorer with 35 runs including three boundaries, while Aman made 32 runs with three balls towards the fence.
Arun of Tiger Cricket Club was the wrecker-in-chief who scalped 2 wickets, while, Jai also scalped 2 wickets in one over.
In reply, Tiger Cricket Club players tried their level best to clinch the match but failed and lost the match by just 6 runs in allotted 20 overs. Gulshan chipped in 35 runs including four boundaries, whole, Ankush also made 34 runs with the help of three boundaries and two lofty sixes.
For Friends Cricket Club side, Sahil and Harbhajan took one wicket apiece.
