Srinagar, Dec 31: The Frisal area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district is lacking the services of a fulltime Tehsildar in the area, putting the residents to much inconvenience.
The residents told Excelsior over phone that they do not have Tehsildar for last more than 6 months, putting them, especially the students to much inconvenience.
“The students are applying for the scholarship programs, they have to get the income certificates, and which they have to get from the Tehsildar, but there is none,” said Hanief Muhammad, a resident.
The locals are appealing to the Lt Governor’s Administration to look into the matter and get the problem resolved. “We are facing numerous problems in the absence of Tehsildar in the area; the Govt must come our rescue,” he said.
