MENDHAR, Nov 17: Five Star Cricket Club thrashed Mendhar Cricket Club (MCC) and claimed the title trophy of the second premier league held at OB Hill Stadium here today.
Batting first, after winning the toss, FSCC scored 148 runs for all out in 25 overs, which its opponent MCC failed to chase.
On the valedictory function, SDM Ranjit Singh, was the chief guest, whio presented trophy to the skipper of FSCC in presence of SDPO Amit Bhasin, SHO Mehroof Badana, local populace and sports lovers.
SDM also awarded man of the match Taruf Hussain Shah and man of the series Majid Khan.
The tournament was organised by Kamran Khan, Reyaz Khan and Sarfraz Bhat.
