LOS ANGELES, July 24: Actress Gal Gadot says her Wonder Woman has been inspired by Britain’s Princess Diana.
Warner Bros unveiled the “Wonder Woman” trailer at San Diego Comic Con and Gadot, who stars as Diana, warrior princess of the Amazons, revealed she took inspiration from the real-life Princess Diana, after watching a documentary on the late British royal, reported Collider.
“She leads from her heart not from her head. And that describes this Diana,” Gadot said.
The trailer’s official description said: “Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.
“Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat.
“Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…And her true destiny.”
“Wonder Woman” also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya and Ewen Bremner.
Zach Snyder is a producer on the “Wonder Woman” and he joined the stars of his “Justice League” movie, including Gadot, Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Henry Cavill, and Ray Fisher, for a panel at Comic Con.
