JAMMU, Nov 1: Game-Changer Cricket Club organized various sports activities at PVC Bana Singh Stadium RS Pura, here today.
The event was organised by the Club with the help of Captain Avinash Uttama and former Ranji players Parnav Mahajan and Rakshit Sarvesh.
The event started with 100 mtrs relay race, followed by 400 mtrs race, shotput and girls’ race. A Cricket match was played between Press Club Jammu and Game Changer Cricket Club while Cosco Cricket match was played between MLA XI and RS Pura Veterans and finally, the event was concluded by organizing a Kho-Kho competition among the young players.
Former Minister Sham Chaudhary, Ex MLA Gagan Bhagat, DySP Shabbir Khan, Station In-Charge Jaipal Sharma, Tarun Uppal chairperson of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, Sangh Pracharak Vikram, Dalip Sharma, Jitendra Bhagat, Bhushan Lal Dogra, Akash Chopra and many others graced the sports event.
Tarun Uppal congratulated the Club for organizing the sports event. He said, “There is dire need to provide platform to budding players to further harness their talent.”
Event organiser, Avinash Uttam said that the talent in the rural areas is immense but due to lack of better platform their talent does not come out.
