JAMMU, Sept 2: Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Khurshid Ahmad Ganai today visited SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmna.
The Financial Commissioner was accompanied by the Director Industries & Commerce, MD, SIDCO, Joint Director ,I&C, GM, DIC and other officers of the SIDCO/SICOP and I&C department were also present.
The MD briefed the Financial Commissioner about ongoing developmental works being undertaken under the up-gradation scheme of MSME, Govt. of India.
The Financial Commissioner interacted with the office bearers of Industries Association led by its President Annil Suri. The Association briefed the FC about various difficulties being faced by the industrialists. The difficulties of the entrepreneurs were taken note of.
On-spot directions were issued to immediately take necessary steps in consultation with the Industries Association to improve the infrastructure especially the cleanliness of the estate and the water logging.
The Financial Commissioner assured the representative of the Association that the Government will take every step to mitigate the problems of industry.
Later, the Financial Commissioner, accompanied by the President of Association had a complete round of the industrial complex. He also visited industrial units of Shalimar Carpets, Saraswati Plasto Tech and Uflex and appreciated the products being manufactured here.
