KATHUA, May 28: The teams from Kashmir valley dominated the Inter-District Under-14 Football tournament with Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramula and Budgam teams making it to semi-finals.
On the third day today four league matches were played in which Ganderbal team defeated Anantnag by 2:0, Kupwara beat Kathua by 3:1 goals, Baramula beat Srinagar by 2:1 and Budgam registered a big win over Jammu by 5:0 goals.
With the end of league matches four teams viz Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramula and Budgam entered the semi finals.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua along with officiating teams comprising Kuldeep Singh, Mohan Lal, DharamPaul, Kamal Kumar Sharma and Ganesh Dutt Sharma were present on the occasion.
