JAMMU, Nov 26: Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture and Congress candidate Raman  Bhalla said that massive development has taken place in Gandhi Nagar constituency and entire picture  has been changed.
“The rhythm of development will continue in Gandhi Nagar constituency, provided the people support and  strengthen the Congress party,” Minister assured.
Mr Bhalla further disclosed that Gandhi Nagar constituency has witnessed large scale development in  all fronts, like health sector, education, road connectivity, power and water supply,  etc.
Minister said this, while addressing election meetings in KC Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Azad Nagar, Gangyal,  Kunjwani, Bazigar Mohallah, Langar and Dashmesh Nagar areas in Gandhi Nagar constituency here today.
“Congress party’s main attention was up-gradation of the basic facilities and creation of infrastructure for quality education, water and power supply, better medical health care  facilities for the benefit of the people”, he added.
Mr Bhalla said that it was his endeavor to develop the Gandhi Nagar on modern lines and a model  constituency in the State. For cherishing this dream, he has sought people’s support for another stint.
“There is no alternate to the Congress Party as during the period of this party, the country and State  progressed steadfastly in all sectors. The party has multi-pronged planning and strategy to deal  with the issues of unemployment, poverty, upliftment of weaker sections of the society”, Minister  added.
Several prominent persons also spoke on the occasion and pledged to extend wholehearted support to  Raman Bhalla as Congress party candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency in the forthcoming assembly  elections.
