Ganga launches development works in Ramgarh

Samba, May 13: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today laid foundation stone for three additional class rooms here at Govt Middle School Dug-Channi, Ramgarh Block.
The project is estimated to be completed at a cost of Rs 8.65 lakh.
A team of officers comprising Chief Education Officer Samba O.P Bhagat, Tehsildar Ramgarh Raman Chalotra, Xens PHE, PDD, PWD and other senior officials were also present.
The Minister also addressed public meeting at the venue whereat people put forth their demands related to issuance of Ration Cards, provision for regular transport facilities, resolution of revenue matters and sought his intervention. He assured them that all genuine demands shall be looked in to and addressed on priority. He announced that proposal for Panchayat Ghar and village community Hall shall be incorporated in the next plan.
Later, the Minister also attended Swachhta week activities organised by Rural Development Department at Ramgarh Block. He announced financial assistance of Rs 14.28 lakh for construction of Integrated House Hold Units for 119 beneficiaries under Swacch Bharat Mission. He called upon public to spread awareness regarding importance of cleanliness and sanitation and avail aid being provided by the Government.
