Ganga sanctions ambulance out of CDF

SAMBA, Jan 17: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today sanctioned Rs 4.18 lakh for an Ambulance Van for Mata Amar Dei Rotary Eye Hospital, Rahya Morh, Vijaypur out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The Hospital Administration had approached the Minister for providing ambulance which shall be beneficial for public in general and to the residents of Vijaypur in particular.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasised on providing affordable and better healthcare to the residents. He said that primary objective of health institutions should be to provide timely help during emergencies and the new ambulance would play a major role in arranging prompt transportation need of patients.
He stressed on up gradation of healthcare facilities at grassroots level so that patients need not travel to Jammu or outside State for some minor ailment and assured that Government is committed for augmentation of health infrastructure in the State.
Chairman, Mata Amar Dei Hospital, Ashok Gupta, president, Rotary Club, Jammu Tawi, BR Chandan, secretary, Jaswant Rai Gupta, Co-Chairmen, PS Jaggi, Anil Gupta and Rajesh Gupta, Directors, Dr Dushyant Choudhary, Vijay Tandon, Jatinder Singh Gandhok, Vikas Gupta, Subash Gandotra, Raman Sherpuri and AS Modi were also present on the occasion.
