JAMMU, July 8: Awareness Workshop for Special Scholarships for the students of J&K State was organized in GCW, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
On this occasion a team from AICTE and MHRD comprising of Avinash S Pant, vice chairman AICTE, Dr RS Rathore, Deputy Director AICTE and ML Meena, Under-Secretary MHRD visited the institution and apprised the students about different categories of scholarship scheme.
Prof Nalini Kohli, Director Colleges, Higher Education Department, Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal GCW, Gandhi Nagar and other distinguished guests were also present.
The organizers said that the objective of organizing this workshop was to disseminate knowledge amongst the students and their parents about special scholarship package.
It was attended by the students, parents, members of civil society and staff members of the college.
