JAMMU, Mar 13: Department of Physical Education and Sports of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) tournament 2023-24 of Cluster University here today.
Dr SP Saraswat Principal of the College was the Chief Guest during the opening ceremony, while Dr Vinod Bakshi Director Physical Education and Sports, at CLUJ was the Guest of Honour, Additionally Dr Vijendra Sharma, Dr Yash Paul (Convenor Sports Committee of the College), Dr Ramandeep Karalia, Physical Director of GCOE, Ravi Kumkar Physical Director of Commerce College, Assistant PTI Neelam Kumari were also present during the competition.
The competition was conducted under the overall supervision of Kajal Premi, Physical Director of PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Sports Committee of the College.
First match was a walkover to SPMR College of Commerce against GCOE, second match was won by Govt. MAM College by 24 points against GGM Science and the final match was played between MAM College and SPMR College of Commerce in which MAM College won the match and tournament by 59 points.
The tournament was officiated by Jasdev Singh, Vishal Malhotra PET and Ajay Wadhara from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu.
