JAMMU, Oct 22: Scripting convincing victories over their rivals in their respective summit clashes today, Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar and MAM College Jammu lifted the title trophies in the BLAZE Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men & Women) Tournament of Cluster University of Jammu at GCW Gandhi Nagar, here.
The Tournament was organised by the Department of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu.
Dr Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu graced the occasion.
In Women’s section final, GCW Gandhi Nagar beat GGM Science College by 49-20 and lifted the trophy, while in men’s title clash, MAM College beat GGM Science College by 35-19 to emerge the champion.
The matches were played under the supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu.
Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director MAM College Jammu, Prof Jagjeet Singh, Dr Roopali Salathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof Anil Singh, Prof Amjad Hussain, Prof Madhu Ram, Prof Ram Parkash, Prof Ram Krishan, Prof Reyaz Ahmed, Prof Rahul Uttam, Prof Rajiv Kumar, Prof. Khalid Hussain, Prof. Makhdoom Ahmed, Prof Masood Ahmed, Prof Imran Khan, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director MAM College, Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College and Anil Kumar, Assistant Physical Director, GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu were present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Keshav Singh, Harpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Akhil Kumar and Banty Kumar.
