JAMMU, Mar 14: Legal Literacy Club/Legal Cadet Corps of GCW Gandhi Nagar organized a guest lecture on “Rights of Women in Married Life”.
On this occasion, Justice J P Singh, Legal Advisor, Jammu University, NHPC, Senior Advisor of CBSE was the Resource Person, whereas S K Jain, Social Activist and Yoga expert was the guest of honour.
Prof Shruti Sharma, Convener of the Club welcomed the Resource Person, Guest of Honour, Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College, Staff and Students of the College and talked about the aims and objectives of constitution of this Club for equipping young girls of College about their rights and duties.
Justice J P Singh in his lecture said the dignity of women is an important aspect of our social fabric and providing them equality is our fundamental right. Mr Jain also shared his views on the occasion, while Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College while addressing the students urged them to use their tools of knowledge.
Prof Shivani Sharma conducted the proceedings of the programme and Prof. Babita presented the vote of thanks.
