‘Rang Trang-Display Your Talent’

JAMMU, Sept 17: The events of Group Song Indian and Folk Instrumental Solo were conducted today at ‘Rang Trang-Display Your Talent’, being organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
Dean Students Welfare, Prof Jasbir Singh alongwith Prof Yash Pal Sharma, Chairman Campus Cultural Committee, Prof Anupama Vohra, Co-Chairperson Campus Cultural Committee Dr Anil Gupta, Dr. Garima Gupta (Assistant Deans SW) judges and members of Campus Cultural Committee felicitated the winners.
In Group Song Indian, the team of GCW Parade stood first and the team from Institute of Music and Fine Arts stood second. The third position was shared by the teams of GDC RS Pura and GDC Samba. Tejinder Gill, Kuljit Singh and Dharmesh Nargotra were the judges and Dr Shallu Sehgal was the Teacher Incharge of the event.
In Folk Instrumental Solo, the second and third positions were secured by Dharampal from GDC Billawar and Sunil Padha GDC, Jindrah respectively.
The event was coordinated by Mansi Mantoo Media Officer, Ifra Kak Cultural Officer and Sumeet Sharma Drama Instructor.
Vaishali, Sonia, Mehul, Sahil, Shaharaza, Alisha, Vrinda and Anup looked after the hall management. The sound was operated by Kulbhushan Thakur and Arif Paul.
Tomorrow, the event of Light Vocal Solo would be conducted at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium from 10 am onwards.
