JAMMU, Nov 24: A ‘Career Fest’ was organised at GD Goenka Public School Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, here today.
A total of 31 top-notch universities had registered their participation for this event. The event provided a platform for students to be aware of the courses offered at these universities and the career prospects that await them in future.
Students from Class X to XII participated in this event. They interacted eagerly with the representatives from the universities, who briefed them about the new opportunities for learning and the skill sets required to excel.
Sanya Bansal (Director) conveyed her best wishes for the program and expressed the view that such platforms will help students to create a road map for the future.
Principal Arindam Roy Choudhury said that this event was the dire need of the hour and would guide students to pursue their goals.
Susmita Roy Choudhury, Dean Academics and Shakun Choudhary, Coordinator of the senior wing were also present on this occasion. Parents were also enthusiastic participants during this event.
The Fest was quite a successful one and was a learning curve for the students.
