Jammu, Mar 2: G D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, organized an Inter-House cricket match, which was played between the students of class VI, VII and VIII, here.
Anish of class VI took 3 important wickets and scored unbeaten 26 runs to guide his class team to emphatic victory. For his splendid performance, he was adjudged as man of the match.
Meanwhile, one of the faculty members of the School has been selected by the British Council to attend a 4 day workshop for Curriculum Mapping at New Delhi. G D Goenka, Jammu is amongst the fortunate 40 Schools selected all over the country for this workshop.
Moreover, the North Zonal Head of the British Council visited the School and was given a warm reception from the Goenkan community and the students under the guidance of the Music Department exhibited a stellar performance.
