JAMMU, Mar 19: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust organized an impressive of Pre-Primary Section at Abhinav Theatre, here.
The chief guest for the prestigious occasion was Smita Sethi, Director Education, Jammu.
The function commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest accompanied by other dignitaries. The function was based on the theme ‘Tinker Bell’.
The idea was conceptualized from an animation movie related to fairies and goblins and what all they do to change the seasons.
The entire programme was a colourful bonanza of dance, drama and music. The comparing was done by students of Kindergarten. The finale song conveyed the message of Unity.
The most awaited part of the function was the Convocation Ceremony where Kindergarten students are graduated to enter the Primary Wing.
The award winning Silent National Anthem was dedicated to ‘Special Children’.
While addressing the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the performance of the children and the sincere effort of the teachers in grooming them for a wonderful show.
The Principal of the School, Dr RP Singh expressed his gratitude to the chief guest for her valuable time to be a part of the Goenkan fraternity.
A vote of thanks was presented by Sunna Syal, Co-ordinator of the Pre-Primary Wing.
