JAMMU, Aug 26: The students of G D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust participated in National Kick Boxing Championship 2014 at Guwahati in Assam.
The championship was organized by Kick Boxing Association of Assam (KAA) and Indian Association of Kick Boxing Organisation (IAKBO).
16 students of GD Goenka participated in the prestigious event, out of which 13 students won medals. Tarandeep Singh, Sushrat Raina attained gold medals, while Choudhary Zulkar, Shivam Chouhan and Abhay Sharma got silver and the bronze medals winners included Danish Kumar, Amay Pujari, Rajvansh Singh, Kshitij Radotra, Anhsu Gupta , Bramjyot Singh, Vansh Parihar and Rudraksh Sharma.
The Principal of the School, Dr R P Singh lauded the efforts of students and the coach, Danish Padha for this achievement.
