A KHNOOR, Nov 20: One-day workshop on preparation of Jam, Jelly and Pickles (Post Harvest Technology) was organized by GDC Akhnoor in collaboration with Department of J&K State Council for Sciences and Technology.
The inaugural speech was delivered by Additional Director of DST Jammu, Shajat Sultan in which he focused on the entrepreneurship in rural areas for setting up the units of different skills.
Earlier the workshop was started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the guests followed by Sarswati Vandna.
Earlier, Principal GDC Akhnoor, Dr Asha Gupta presented welcome address. About 200 students of GDC Akhnoor participated in this workshop.
Dr Jullie Bandral and Dr Monika Sood Assistant Profs from SKUAST delivered lectures and gave the practical demonstration on the subject.
