Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament

JAMMU, Oct 4: Defeating Government Degree College (GDC) Poonch convincingly in the summit clash, GDC Bhaderwah lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament 2019-20, organised by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Varsity Gymnasium Hall, here today.
The winners prevailed over their rivals by 9 points (36-27).
Earlier, in the first semifinal, GDC Bhaderwah defeated GDC Khour by 5 points (37-32), while in the second semifinal, GDC Poonch beat GDC Kathua by 4 points (28-24).
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the medals and trophy among the winners.
The match was officiated by Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Keshav Singh and Harpreet Singh.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Mukesh Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Jai Bharat, Sanjeev Pandey, Ashok Kumar, Harshdeep Bhau, Anuj Singh, Zakir Ali Ganai, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia and Gagan Kumar.
