JAMMU, Dec 17: Govt Degree College Budhal organized a symposium on “Importance of Bio Diversity and its conservation” in the College.
Principal of the College, Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function and delivered a power point presentation on the topic “An Ideal Environment.”
15 students of the College participated in the symposium.
Mohd Shabir bagged first position, while Layaqat Ali and Tahseen Akhter got 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Earlier, the function started with recitation of few verses of the Holy Quran by Tehasin Akhter and welcome address by Dr Mohammad Ramzan, HoD Arabic.
Prof Yasir Butt, Prof Priksha Raina and Prof Manzoor Ali acted as jury members for the symposium. Prof Amandeep Jagral compiled the result.
Prof Altaf Ahmed, HoD EVS conducted the proceedings of the programme and also delivered s power point presentation on the topic, while Dr Mohd Sajar, HoD Persian presented vote of thanks.
Prof Mohd Aslam, Muddasir Ahmad Dar, Azhar Malik and Mushtaq Ahmed assisted the programme.
