JAMMU, Jan 14: 14 girls and 2 staff members of Government Degree College Thanamandi were flagged off for Education Tour by the College Principal, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Lone alongwith Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Thanamandi, Mujeeb-Ul-Rehman and Vice-Principal of the College, Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina, here today.
The flag off ceremony was attended by a large number of students, staff members and media persons.
Prof Saleem Ayaz Rather, HoD Zoology and Prof Junaid Jazib, HoD EVS were also present on the occasion.
The dignitaries while wishing the touring contingent a great success, advised the students to remain vigilant and disciplined during the trip.
During this tour students will visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur etc.
Prof Junaid Jazib and Prof Shazia Manhas accompanied the contingent as In-charge.
