JAMMU, Feb 14: A function was organized on in premises of Govt Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar to honour the NCC Cadets of different wings namely Naval Wing, Armd Wing and the Infantry Girls Wing.
Dr. Nater Singh, Principal Government Degree College, Kathua appreciated and encouraged the cadets of the three wings.
He said that it was matter of proud for the institution when 8 cadets participated in Republic Day Parade at Delhi in this year from this college, with 4 from Naval Wing, 2 from Armed Wing and 2 from Infantry Girl wing.
Prof. Jasvinder Singh, ANO Naval Wing Government Degree College, Kathua revealed that 1st time o4 cadets from Naval Wing selected for the RDC Delhi and he congratulated the cadets. Dr. Arun Dev Singh Associate Officer of Armd Wing Government Degree College, Kathua also congratulated the cadets and emphasized that all the cadets must come forward to prove their ability at such plate form & hoping that they will do better even in future.
Prof. Madhavi Manohar Lal Sharma, ANO Infantry Girls Wing was also present on the occasion. The cadets were honoured and received certificates and medals from the Principal of the College.
The faculty members present on the occasion were Prof. P.K. Rao, Prof. Sumanesh , Prof. Ram Singh , Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Pawan Kumar and Dr. Sumit Dubey.
