JAMMU, Nov 26: Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua claimed the winning trophy of Inter Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Tournament, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Gymnasium Hall.
In the final match, GDC Kathua outplayed GDC Khour by 20 points. Rajan Sharma, Sahil Sharma and Saddam Hussain of GDC Kathua showed outstanding performance and lead the team towards victory whereas Goutam Singh, Rahul Singh and Arun Sharma also played well from GDC Khour.
Dr Pritam Singh, Dr Kamaldeep, Shashi Sharma and Anuradha were the special guests on the occasion, who along with Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu awarded the trophies and medals to the winner and runner up teams in the presence of Ravish Vaid, Harinderpal Singh, Gagan Kumar, Jai Bharat, Sanjeev Pandey, Sanjeev Sharma, Tarvinderpal Singh, Bhavana Sharma and Pankaj Singh.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel of experts including Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Ramandeep Kalaria, Keshav Singh, Amandeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Gagan Kumar and Karan Kumar.
