KATHUA, Mar 26: Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua hosted a two-day Intra-College Sports event organized by the Physical Education and Sports Department and the Sports Board, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department of Kathua.
The event was graced by Principal Prof. Seema Mir as chief guest and Varun Kumar Choudhary, District Social Welfare Officer, as guest of honour. The first day featured a Kho-Kho (Women’s) match between She Warriors and Pink Panthers, with the latter winning. The second day showcased an intense Football (Women’s) match between The Knights and The Titans, which ended in a penalty shootout, with The Knights emerging victorious.
