REASI, Feb 24: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Katra inaugurated a seven-day special winter camp, here today.
The aim of the camp is to promote social responsibility and community engagement among students. Prof. Mohd Younus Saleem delivered the inaugural address, welcoming participants and encouraging them to actively participate. Dr. Manisha Kumari, NSS Programme Officer, coordinated the event, while Dr. Usha Sharma motivated students for the upcoming activities. Dr. Hafiz Ahmed Wani and Dr. Mudasir Ahmed emphasized the importance of the camp. The program, organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat, includes various community outreach activities in the adopted village of Dadura. A total of 35 volunteers have registered for the camp.
