GDC Kunjwani registers win

JAMMU, Feb 1:  Govt Degree College Kunjwani registered 13 runs victory over GDC Sidhra in the inter-collegiate Cricket tournament, organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today.
Batting first, GDC Kunjwani scored 123 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing all wickets. Gourav made 47 runs while facing 33 balls, while Maninder scored 20 runs off 18 balls and Huzaff contributed 15 runs. From the bowling side, Davender took 3 wickets, while Rahul and Jatin also clinched 3 wickets each.
In reply, GDC Sidhra succeeded to score 110 runs by losing 9 wickets in the process and lost the match by 13 runs. Gohvar made highest 36 runs while Jatin and Gurjot contributed 14 and 16 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Sakhel took 4 wickets, while Irfan and Huzaff claimed 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
Suresh Singh, Tahir Mehmood and Raj Kumar were the umpires, while Manoj Kumar acted as scorer during the match.
