JAMMU, Apr 26: Government Degree College (GDC) Majalta held its first-ever Annual Prize Distribution Function, celebrating the academic and extracurricular achievements of its students.
Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Principal of GDC Jindrah, graced the event as Special Invitee and praised the efforts of students and faculty in nurturing a culture of excellence. Dr. Shalini Sharma, Principal of GDC Majalta, welcomed the gathering and emphasized the significance of acknowledging talent to inspire future accomplishments.
Award winners included Shipali Rajput (Best Student), Rohit Sharma (Best NSS Volunteer), Sundar Ali (Best Orator), Priya Verma (Best Library User), Neeru (Best in Cultural Activities), Santosh Kumari (Best Athlete), and Akram Rahi (Best in Event Management).
Faculty member Vinod Kumar was honoured with the Award of Excellence for his outstanding service. Dr. Chander Mohan, Associate Professor of English, anchored the event, which concluded with vibrant student performances.
